Relaxation therapy encompasses a wide range of different treatments and practices, combined as per the individual needs of each client and focused on easing a variety of symptoms which can then be used as strategies when coping with the stresses and strains of modern life. Approaches can include meditation, massage, coaching and counselling, to name but a few.
As each combination of therapies is tailored to the client, the duration of sessions will vary, but will usually be between 30 minutes and an hour. The initial session will also include a full consultation, investigating the underlying issues and looking at options for reducing both the stressors where possible and/or their impact upon the individual.
